RYOJI IKEDA
Ryoji Ikeda is a prominent figure in Japanese electronic music creation and stands as one of the foremost innovators in the realm of micro-electro sound. His work predominantly revolves around the intricacies of ultrasound, frequency modulation, and the fundamental properties of sound itself. Since 1995, Ikeda has been actively engaged in exploring various avenues of artistic expression, encompassing concerts, installations, recordings, and integrated sound compositions. Within his creative endeavors, he meticulously reconstructs and symbolizes music, time, and space through mathematical principles. By approaching sound as a visceral experience rather than merely a physical phenomenon, Ikeda endeavors to elucidate its profound connection to human perception.
The Vinyl Factory x Fact

The largest exhibition of the artist’s work ever staged, including numerous world premieres, a subterranean exploration of sound and light, the show takes viewers on a sensory journey through 180 studios’ labyrinthine spaces. ikeda’s innovative work explores the essential characteristics of sound and light by means of mathematical precision and aesthetics. 


A [for 100 cars]

The project title a stands for the standard concert pitch 440hz, so called "la". the project is divided into six parts, and the one chose is to play with a hundred cars. visitors will experience their own special disturbances oscillations in their ears, which will constantlynd interactively change according to their own movements and resonate on physical and inner level.
