- In my approach to design, I prioritize a harmonious color scheme where all furnishings and elements maintain a unified color palette. For this specific project, I recommend incorporating an abundance of wooden accents as decorative features. Given the ample natural light pouring in through the numerous windows on two sides of the house, a light-colored design will imbue the entire space with a sense of cleanliness and brightness.
Within the kitchen, I propose the use of raw wood cabinets paired with light gray marble panels. This choice aligns with the overall aesthetic of both the kitchen and the entire interior. Moreover, this configuration offers an extensive storage capacity, which can greatly enhance the functionality and visual appeal of the kitchen during day-to-day use.
For the living room, I recommend a soft, pale gold hue for the walls surrounding the central fireplace. The addition of translucent curtains and wooden grilles will further enhance the interior's luminosity and ambiance.
The selection of furniture is a pivotal aspect of the design process. Beyond essential pieces such as sofas and chairs, the incorporation of decorative furniture items, like floor lamps and artwork, should be approached with a discerning eye. These additions should be made once the overall design of the house has taken shape, ensuring that each element complements and enhances the space, reflecting a true understanding of its functional and aesthetic requirements.
